Gaithersburg, MD – NEBB, the premier international certification association for firms that deliver high performance building systems, recently appointed Michael Kelly, NEBB CP, as 2024-2025 NEBB President. Succeeding 2023-2024 NEBB President Luis Chinchilla, Mr. Kelly was appointed president by the NEBB Board of Directors at the 2024 NEBB Annual Conference held in Arizona last month.
As a Project Manager at Air Filtration Management in Bethlehem, PA, Mr. Kelly specializes in the testing, and certification of cleanrooms, HEPA filters, clean air equipment, and laboratory fume hoods. With nearly 40 years of experience in the cleanroom industry, he holds NEBB Certifications in Cleanroom Performance Testing as well as Fume Hood Performance Testing.
After receiving his Professional Certificate for Cleanroom Performance Testing from NEBB in 1991, Mr. Kelly became a Fume Hood Committee member, and later on Committee Chair. Upon joining NEBB’s Board of Directors, he has dedicated countless hours to advancing both NEBB and the industry it serves.
